Elsendoj en Esperanto = Esperanto broadcasts
The internet has always been a blessing for Esperanto. It enables easier connectivity amongst a widespread community. One of the systems profiting from it is podcasts and internet broadcasts. Here are some of the best known:
Muzaiko is a full time Esperanto radio station which plays Esperanto music, interviews and news items from the whole world. The name is a play on the words for “Music” and “Mosaic”.
Radio China International
RCI has an almost daily one hour radio broadcast with news in Esperanto.
The weekly broadcasts from 3ZZZradio from Australia often spotlight literature and interesting items such as those from the magazine Monato.
The podcasts from Varsovia Vento (“The wind from Warsaw”) are especially noted for their enthusiastic reporting of Esperanto events and for their interviews and musicians.
Broadcast three times weekly from 21:20 to 21:30 (Vatican local time).
Radio Havana Cuba
Radio Havana produces broadcasts in Esperanto almost every week; listen to them to receive news about Cuba and about the Esperanto movement in general.
Aminda Radio Esperanto
Listen to the weekly podcast to find out more about various matters in Madagascar in Esperanto. The name of the station means “Loveable Radio Esperanto”.
The name of this station is a poetic rendering of “Breeze” from a poem written by the inventor of Esperanto. It offers beginners easy texts, delivered free, which have been adapted from other sources.
If you want to learn about something thoroughly, this is the podcast series for you. Each episode goes into just one topic for about one hour. The title means loosely “The heart of the matter”.
